2. What JewIQ is

JewIQ is a free directory of jewellery businesses. Listings are compiled from public sources such as trade-show directories and the businesses’ own websites, and from businesses that claim their profiles. A listing is not an endorsement or recommendation, and JewIQ is not a party to any enquiry, negotiation or transaction between you and a business.

3. Your account

• Accounts are free and personal. Sign in with Google or with a code sent to an email address you control.
• You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has accessed it.
• You can delete your account at any time from Your account.
• We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put other users or listed businesses at risk.

4. Acceptable use of contact details

Full phone numbers and email addresses are provided so you can make genuine business enquiries. You must not:

• copy, scrape, harvest or bulk-download listings or contact details, by automated means or otherwise;
• send spam or unsolicited bulk marketing to listed businesses, or contact them in breach of anti-spam and privacy laws (such as CAN-SPAM, the GDPR and ePrivacy rules, CASL or India’s IT Rules);
• sell, license or republish JewIQ data, or use it to build a competing directory or database;
• get around the daily limit of 100 new contacts, use several accounts to do so, or interfere with the site’s security or operation;
• impersonate anyone, or use JewIQ for fraud, harassment or anything unlawful.

5. Dealing with businesses

Any contact, quotation, order, payment or dispute is solely between you and the business. Jewellery transactions can involve significant sums: verify identity, certifications (such as GIA or IGI reports) and payment terms yourself before you commit. JewIQ is not responsible for the acts, products or services of any listed business.

6. Accuracy of listings

We work to keep listings accurate, but information comes from public sources and changes over time. Locations marked “approximate” are estimated. We do not guarantee that any listing is complete, current or correct. Please report errors.

7. If your business is listed

You can claim your listing for free to correct it and earn the Claimed badge, or ask us to remove it. When you send us content for your listing, you confirm you have the right to do so and allow us to publish it on JewIQ.

8. Intellectual property

The JewIQ name, logo, design and the compilation of the directory belong to JewIQ. Business names and trademarks belong to their owners and are used only to identify them. You may link to JewIQ pages and share individual listings for personal or business reference.

9. Other websites

Listings link to businesses’ own websites. We don’t control those sites and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

10. Disclaimers and liability

JewIQ is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the extent the law allows. To the maximum extent permitted by law, JewIQ is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, business or data, arising from your use of the site or your dealings with any business, and our total liability to you is limited to INR 10,000 (or the equivalent in your currency).

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country.

11. Indemnity

You agree to compensate JewIQ for claims and costs arising from your breach of these terms or your misuse of contact details obtained through JewIQ.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction, without depriving you of the protection of mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live.

13. Changes

We may update these terms. The date above shows the latest version; continuing to use JewIQ after a change means you accept it.
